Our Team

I got to where I am by focusing on constant improvement and by finding and listening to good mentors. Many people helped me along the way. I wanted to be a surgeon initially, but a wrestling injury in high school led me to a chiropractor who helped me more than any doctor was able to. I changed career paths based on that and went to Chiropractic School instead. I'm from Brick, New Jersey and went to school in Rhode Island and the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. I am a proud citizen of Wilmington since 2008. I surf, have a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, father to two boys, loves the outdoors, camping, rock climbing, and hiking. I was a Division 1 rower in college, and have given lectures, workshops, and admin seminars on health, wellness, and injury prevention to over 4000 people.

I started my career at The Fix Chiropractic in November of 2023 working with Dr. Russ in both running the front desk and becoming a certified SoftWave Technician. Since then, I have treated 100s of patients and performed 1000s of personalized SoftWave treatments.

After training an A-Team staff in both the front desk arts and treating patients in SoftWave, I have now moved to the roles of both Office Manager and Case Manager. In a chiropractic office, the roles of Office Manager and Case Manager are distinct but complementary. Both positions involve ensuring the smooth operation of the practice, but their responsibilities focus on different aspects of patient care and office administration.

After being hands on with so many patients and having an amazing Doctor and Staff by my side, I feel confident that ALL of our patients, from SoftWave, to Chiropractic, to Neuropathy, are in good hands. You WILL be well taken care of here. We love our patients!

Sophia Venditti graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, driven by her curiosity about human behavior and her passion for helping others. During her time as an intern with the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire, she gained valuable insights into neurological health and recovery, sparking her interest in wellness and healing. After college, Sophia returned to her hometown of South Portland, Maine, where she spent a year as a private nanny, fostering meaningful connections and caring for others. Now, as a SoftWave technician at The Fix Chiropractic, Sophia brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine love for helping people feel their best every day. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active outdoors and pursuing her hobbies, including walking, working out, playing pickleball and beach volleyball, and diving into a good book whenever she can.
